Who we are
ShipTier: Free Shipping Bar (“the App”) is a Shopify embedded app that shows storefront shipping-progress messaging. Operator: Upthink Solutions OÜ.
Customer personal data
We do not store customer personally identifiable information (PII). The App does not collect or retain customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, IP addresses, or Shopify customer IDs.
Mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request,
customers/redact, shop/redact) are implemented and return
HTTP 200. Customer data-request and customer-redact handlers are intentional no-ops
because no customer PII is stored. Shop redact permanently deletes shop-level app data.
What we store
- Shop domain and OAuth access token (to sync settings and billing)
- Merchant bar settings (goals, messages, colors, plan/billing status)
- Optional shop-level storefront analytics aggregates (event type, country code, currency, cart total) — not tied to a customer identity
How data is used
Data is used solely to operate the free-shipping progress bar, optional Pro billing, and merchant-facing analytics inside Shopify Admin.
Uninstall & retention
On uninstall we soft-disable the bar and clear the shop access token. On Shopify’s
shop/redact webhook we permanently delete settings, analytics events, and
shop records for that store.
